Santa Run in December
Every December the Hebron VFD does a Santa Run in some of the neighbors to bring Santa to them in the Hebron Brush Truck so the children can see him.
Family members take pictures of Santa and their children will Santa helpers (Hebron Volunteers) pass out candy canes to the children after they visit with him.
It is a good time for all…. Especially the children. It help the community come together and lets them see how much their local volunteer fire department means to them other than just an emergency situation.
Since volunteer fire department depends mostly on their own funding raising ability, they always hope that their relationship with the community, will help them gather some donations for the station. Some parents will give donations during the Santa Run, where others will mail it directly to fire station at 200 South Main Street, PO Box 300, Hebron, MD 21830. Please make note why you decide to make donation (i.e. Santa Run, Carnival, Gun Bash, Casino Night or others) as these are some of the fund raising events we have at Hebron VFD.
Your donation is greatly appreciated.
